Bay City used to be named “Bay Prairie”, as the natural ecosystems that surround the town are prairies cris-crossed by creeks that lead into the bay. Established in 1894, Bay City today is distinguished by a deep appreciation for its rich history combined with a progressive vision for the future. It’s a blend that adds to our uniqueness and provides a real sense of community among our residents.
